Third Millennium invited to meet Robert Wood Johnson, Ambassador of the United States of America. Heather Myers, Director of the South Wales Chamber of Commerce was very pleased to welcome the Ambassador of the United States of America, Robert Wood Johnson, on St. David’s day at the Celtic Manor. The Ambassador held a round table discussion with six Welsh businesses from a range of industries, including sport supplements, semi-conductors, meat exporters, high tech’ coatings, innovative concrete solutions and high end electronic security. Proving that business can continue despite the snow, the friendly but candid discussion centred arround the opportunities and difficulties of trading into the USA. The Ambassador was hugely complimentary about the innovation and diversity he had seen on his visit to South Wales and wanted to offer the support of the Embassy to businesses looking to trade and invest in the USA. The Chamber has made some great contacts with the Embassy, and should any members be interested in expanding or trading into the USA should contact the Chamber to find our more at: southwaleschamber.co.uk
